First Place goes to Hibiscus Turtle Box by Marie! A very FP interpretation of the beloved sea turtle, combined with a hint of the lush tropics. Our voters and internal judges just loved it! And, if the winner’s name sounds a bit familiar, it’s because she won our last contest with her sweet Peace symbol made of daisies. Marie has a wonderful sense of the FP brand and is clearly super talented. She submitted a whole collection of beautiful entries, but this one emerged as the favorite. Thank you, Marie, for your time, effort and sincere celebration of the what makes Fresh Produce so much fun!

Second Place goes to Swim Swam Swum by Cathy B! A fantastic, whimsical collection of very FP “Under the Sea” inhabitants, this design was also a fan favorite. The bright colors, fun style and an embrace of what Fresh Produce is all about made it a knock out with our judges as well. Way to go, Cathy!

We’d also like to give a shout out for Peace+Love+Sun by Lori McDonough, a very talented illustrator and huge fan favorite. Thanks for the beautiful entry and way to go getting your awesome fan base behind the design! We loved the ingenuity and look forward to following your fun artwork in the future.

Speaking of future, because of the incredible entries we’ve received and the wonderful people we’ve met, we’re now swimming in artwork! All in all it was a successful event and a great way to spend just 2 hours of our time making a difference in the community. We feel good about working with companies like Macerich that go the extra mile to help out in the communities where they do business (we have stores in 2 Macerich centers – FP Gilbert and FP Scottsdale). The wellness bags will be distributed through a partnership with local affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the American Cancer Society just in time for Mother’s Day this weekend. We surely hope the goodies and well wishes bring some smiles to their recipients. Be well.

If you haven’t heard yet, Fresh Produce has a brand new store in Norcross, GA – a sweet little suburb of Atlanta, just across town from its sister store in Marietta. The fab new store was beautifully, and very thoughtfully, designed by our own Visual Merchandising Maven, Teresa. She created a wonderful shopping experience that provides a rich and textured environment just begging to be explored! The brightly colored walls and furniture pieces are a perfect backdrop for FP’s own colors and prints. There’s also a fantastic assortment of carefully-chosen gifts and accessories from a variety of artisans and vendors who take time to create really spirited, unique products.

While Norcross is the newest edition to the FP Retail family (for a few more weeks – welcome Charleston!), you can also see locally-inspired versions of the unique new store design in Boulder and Scottsdale, which have recently been remodeled and in Balboa and Saugatuck, two brand new Handpicked stores. If you live anywhere nearby or are visiting the area, go check them out and get inspired!
