No matter how old you get, you’re never too old for a good field trip! Yesterday the FP marketing team went to the Denver Art Museum for a dose of what they call “DAM fine art”…and yes it was. Here’s a peek at some pics. The weather was lovely and we had a great day…fresh-E

The Highlander Games

On our way up to Rocky Mountain National Park for a hike yesterday, lo and behold, the Highlander Games/Festival was well under way in Estes Park. Let me tell you how excited I was…some might think it weird, but I have always wanted to go to one of these festivals - are you kidding me, men in kilts displaying feats of great strength?! This was not an opportunity to pass up. Check out some photos captured on a beautiful day in Estes Park. If you look closely, there’s also a bit of FP :)  enjoy, fresh-E

Ah, Labor Day weekend…roadtrips, BBQ’s, baseball games, and just hangin’ out with family and friends. In preparation for the 3-day weekend (yay!), I started to wonder what the “hot spots” were this year. I came across this list on MSN.com - check out their Top 10 escapes here.

What will you be doing this Labor Day weekend? Hope it involves a whole lot of fun and color, FP style!  ~freshE

Find Your Spot

Have you ever wondered if you’ve found your nirvana, your favorite place to be, and you actually have the good fortune of calling it home?! For those of you who are still on the quest, I’ve found a really fun site that’s just for you. I can’t remember how long ago I discovered this website, but over the past couple of years, I have become addicted to it. Find Your Spot - the place where you can take an online quiz and they “instantly provide you with a tailored list of the best cities and small towns that fit YOU. Compare the perfect hometowns and undiscovered havens that match your interests. Dig deeper with colorful reports, job listings, and more. It’s fun & easy!”

So, no matter if you’ve got it all figured out or you’re still on your journey, give it a shot…you just might find your next vacation getaway.  Have fun! -freshE

…no, I have the cutest shirt you have ever seen!

A few weeks ago, Kathe Freund, our “Customer Service Diva” overnighted a Pearl Starfish t-shirt to one of our die-hard starfish fans who wanted to wear it while on her family vacation…what resulted is a great story, not only for us (thanks for sharing, Ellen), but also for the sisters as well.

When my mother, sister and I arrived on the boat in the Galapagos Islands, my sister, Ann, said, “Ellen, I have the cutest shirt you have ever seen!”  I said, “No Ann, I have the cutest shirt you have ever seen.”  Well, we went on and on about our unseen shirts and as the competition heated up we decided to settle the matter Zoolander style with a walk off.  As you have probably already figured out we had the same starfish shirt from Fresh Produce.  It was the funniest thing.  Hers was in blue, mine in brown.  We got so many compliments on the trip whenever we wore our Fresh Produce starfish shirts.

Thank you again for going the extra mile to make sure I had mine for the trip.  By the way, the trip was fabulous - almost as fabulous as our cute Fresh Produce Star Fish shirts.

Design-Her-Gals

fresh-e_designhergal.jpgAlright ladies, this is a fun new site that I think a few of you might enjoy;) It’s called design-her-gals and is sort of like paper dolls on the internet. You can create a character in your own likeness and then personalize things like stationery, invitations, business cards, even t-shirts!

Even better, 5% of every sale goes to their Gal to Gal Foundation, a cause which supports Stage 4 breast cancer patients.

I gave it a shot - here’s the personalized Fresh-E!
