You could win $1000!

Calling all artists! We’re launching our third Wear Art Thou contest today and the theme is Under the Sea! Do you live on the beach? Dream about it? Dive in exotic locales around the world? What bright, colorful things do you see? Put it all down and send it our way. We’d love to see what you create and you coulnd win $1000!

If you’re familiar with Wear Art Thou, you’ll notice that we’ve changed-up the contest format this time. We’ll be accepting entries from April 1 – 30, all of which will be judged by an internal FP panel for creativity, screenability and brand appropriateness. The top 16 entries will then be posted on the Wear Art Thou site from May 4 – 12 for all you clever FP fans to vote on! The first place winner will receive $1000 and their design will be offered in an upcoming product line. The second place winner will receive $500 and their design will also be offered in an upcoming product line. There’s also an opportunity for those designers who don’t ‘win’ a contest to score some booty – if we choose your design at a later date to offer in our product line, we’ll send you a check for $250!

So start designing! Remember that uploaded files should ideally be no larger than 480×400 pixels (but we’ll need hi-res artwork if you win, so save the original!), 72 dpi and less than 2 MB. The site will only accept .gif, .jpg or .png files. You can use any media you want, but remember that the design is for the front of a shirt – generally speaking really complex designs don’t image very well on jersey.
